Fatmata Kargbo an accused charged with conspiracy to murder her boy friend fainted at the Freetown Magistrate court No 1 yesterday when her case was adjourned to the 17th. April 2009.
Girlfriend of the deceased victim Mustapha, is alleged to have conspired with armed robbers who shot and killed Mustapha. Witnesses to the case, the deceased’s aunt and brother believe that Fatmata engineered the robbery when she went to spend the night with him.
Sources claim however that the accused and deceased had shared 6 years of their life together and Fatmata worshipped the ground Mustapha walked on. Looking pale and lost in the court room,she refused to look anyone in the eye and was in tears .
Since her lawyer was absent, the matter was adjourned to Friday 17 April.
