Three (3) Members of Parliament, Hon Tunde Lewally of Constituency 104; Hon Nuru Deen Sankoh of Constituency 105 and Hon David Soriba, Chairman Kenema football Association, have supported the resignation of Leone Stars Captain Mohamed Kallon.
They affirmed that Mohamed Kallon has demonstrated true sportsmanship; and that he is a hero who has done so much for his country.
According to the MPs, Kallon took the right decision; and they took the opportunity to wish him the best in all his endeavors, as he had made his mark in football in the country.
The MPs then called on the Coach, Ahmed Kanu and the entire executive of SLFA to do likewise, as things are not moving in the right direction.
They however noted that the decision by the former Captain to resign his post would not affect the team as he has love for the National Team, and would be prepared to assist the Team as and when the need arises.
The three MPs also disclosed that a Commission of Enquiry would be set up to probe into the activities of the SLFA executive, as they need to explain what went wrong.
