The Hon. Member of Parliament for constituency eleven Hon. David Soriba has embarked on the construction of a 24 meter culvert at Saffa Street in the Lambayama Section in Kenema city.

He said construction of the culvert formed part of his own effort to make areas within his constituency accessible to vehicular traffic after years of neglect.
The MP intimated all at the site that he is using his own personal funds to undertake the project contrary to rumours circulating within the city that it is a Kenema City Council (KCC) project.
Hon. David Soriba encouraged the Saffa Street community especially those that are directly benefiting from the culvert construction project to embrace the project through constant and constructive monitoring of the work to prevent the contractors from engaging in activities that will result to substandard job done. He assured his constituents that are yet to benefit from his personal development projects to exercise patience as he will also consider them.
Making a statement the Publicity Secretary of the Sierra Leone People’s Party SLPP in constituency eleven Morison Yannie lauded the effort of Hon. David George Soriba describing it as a positive move for the people of the constituency.
He paid tribute to the MP for his development aspirations noting that this is not the first time that he is embarking on such development activities.
