In preparation for the new division one season of the renowned division one football clubs in the country, Mount Auroel SLIFA has got a new coach by the name of Rod Underwood an American.
Speaking to Awoko Sports, Rod said he is in the job for a couple of weeks to do some training with the team.
He said his plan is to take Mount Aureol SLIF beyond the Premier League level and to ensure that the club gets international recognition.
When asked about his perception about Sierra Leone footballers since he has worked with the likes of Teteh Bangura, Rod said that Sierra Leonean footballers are good and that the country has lots of talents that need to be developed.
The new Aureol Coach maintained that he would be using the talents available in the team to achieve his goal, noting that he is very confident of the talents of Sierra Leonean footballers. He however indicated that he would be doing more training to improve the stamina of the players and upgrade their collective and individual skills both tactically and technically in order to win games.
