Miral Health Care Limited has introduced over thirty medicines and hospital consumables into the Sierra Leone market aimed at improving the availability of pharmaceutical products in hospitals, clinics and pharmacies across the country.
Miral healthcare limited is a pharmaceutical company importing and distributing pharmaceutical products in Sierra Leone through their manufacturing partners based in India. The company products are certified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and registered with the Pharmacy Board of Sierra Leone.
In an exclusive interview with AWOKO Business at their 15 Lamina Sankoh Street office in Freetown Mahmoud Sesay the Pharmacist in charge of the Miral Healthcare Limited said the company sells pharmaceuticals and hospital consumables to hospitals, clinics and pharmacies on wholesale and retail basis across the country.
He said Miral “products are of the highest quality they have also gone through quality control test in Sierra Leone.”
The Pharmacists disclosed that presently they have products which are good for curing anemia of all cases, typhoid, fever, headache and general body pain. Additionally Miral products are good for the treatment of feverish condition, cold symptoms, toothache, headaches and general body pain, while Miral flox anti biotic is also used for the treatment of infections such as respiratory tract infection, urinary tract infection, gastro-intestinal tract infection, typhoid fever, bone and joint infection and also for surgical prophylaxis.
The products he stated are good for pregnant women, lactating mothers, children, adults and the aged as prescribed by physicians.
Mahmoud Sesay the Pharmacist in charge also stated that the company has received tremendous positive feedback from patients using the products and medical practitioners over the quality of the products. He said most medical practitioners are now prescribing Miral Healthcare products for patients.
He assured that Miral Healthcare hopes to introduce more pharmaceutical products into the market like anti malaria; anti biotic, anti hypertensive’s and anti diabetics among many other products as the need arises for the Sierra Leone market.
He concluded that Miral Healthcare Limited subscribes to all the regulatory principles of the pharmacy board of Sierra Leone.
