Ministry of Finance allocates Le28.9 billion to sports

Minister of Finance Jacob Jusu Saffa during the government budget and statement of economic and financial policies for the financial year 2021 themed “Economic recovery for job creation and human capital development” read in Parliament, Tower Hill, Freetown on Friday 13th November 2020 allocated Le3.7 billion to the Ministry of Sports and Le25.2 billion to the National Sports Authority (NSA), totaling Le28.9 billion.

The amount is an increase of Le12.3 billion when compared to last year’s allotment of 16.6 billion to Sports Ministry, as the NSA was not in existence.
