Mercury International who have donated to several companies, associations and individuals in the past on Monday in Bo during their official opening of their Office in Bo donated Le24 million to the Bo
District Football Association (BDFA).
As part of their assistance to the district in the development of sports, the donation was made by the executive secretary of the company Martin Michael who was very instrumental in the promotion of sports in the country especially to sports Journalists.
Rodney Michael who is in charge of the Bo Mercury branch said that before he quit the position as chairman of the Bo District Football Association he assured them of his support that was why when the oppourinity came he wasted no time to assist them.
He said the donation will put the Bo district clubs in a very good footing for the next Premier League which is expected to start this October.
Rodney also disclosed that the Le24 Million will last for 12 months and each month BDFA will receive two million Leones and currently they are the richest district association in the league.
He also reveals that Mercury International will assist BDFA but it his left with the people of Bo to patronize with Mercury International.
