The 10 week long Big Sister Season 2 reality show finally ended on Sunday 13th December 2020 at the Scarlet Lounge, Lagoonda. Three of the 29 roommates went into the final, including Marjo Bona, Kadiatu Tricket and Yabba Mansaray. Before the winner was declared, one of the roommates, Kadiatu Tricket was evicted, leaving Bona and Yabba vying for gold, which was ultimately won by Bona.

After the show organiser Zainab Sheriff presented cash gifts to all the other roommates who took part in Season 2, adding that they received Le100,000 for every day they spent in the village.

According to 29 year old Marjo Bona, she was happy to be part of the reality TV show, and though she was born in the US, she needed such a platform to further her ambitions.

She said she had been to Sierra Leone three times since 2018 and planned on giving back to the country. She went further to appeal to other Sierra Leoneans residing overseas to come home and contribute to national development.

Second place runner up Kadiatu Tricket said even though she was the oldest in the village she too needed the platform, and thanked Big Sister for affording her the opportunity. The event was witnessed by various sponsors who also made statements including Orange SL, Padi, SLBC and host of others.

In a surprise move, Zainab Sheriff said Bona would not receive her cash prize at the event, “because of security reasons,” but would only receive it in her hotel room.

Meanwhile, first place runner up Yabba Mansaray said she was leaving the village well focused and determined to create an impact.

The program ended with a VVIP party at Scarlet Lounge, Lagoonda, and a general party at Radisson Blu. BT/15/12/2020
