Brima Mansaray maintained his winning spree when he won Brussels Airline Golf tournament on Saturday 7th March 2009 with a score of 264 points.
Over the four days played he amassed a total score of 62,69,67 and 66. Albert Williams with the score of 281 points trailed him after he had scored 68,73,73 and 67 over the four days professionals played.
Third place Jerry Dumbuya got 282 points after scoring 68, 75, 69 and 70.The best net was won by Edwin Michael with 37 points.
While amature for men was won by Nev Nixon and Alie Marah with 35 points and
Alieu M Sesay and David Fleming each got 34 points in second position.
In the ladies best net was a win for Agnes Gotosa with 36 points Nikita Shallop was second with 30 points while Fatima Mullah was third with 28 points.
The longest drive for men was a win for Rob Dinelley while Manula Shallop won the ladies category and nearest to pin was won by Vinod Khatumal while the fair play was won by Mausi Giluckshaik.
Most of the golfers who spoke to Awoko sports after the competition described the
Brussels Airline Golf Tournament as one of the best they have played so far as the prizes were very attractive.
