Man, 24, gets eight months for onions theft

Twenty-four year-old Mustapha Sonnie, residing at Burma 3 at the outskirts of Kenema city has been sentenced to eight months jail term when he made his last appearance before magistrate Tonia Mbawa in Kenema.
According to the prosecutor, Sergeant Bockarie T.A., Mustapha Sonnie stole a large quantity of onions worth over Le360, 000 from a garden owned by one Sadia Lansana of 1 Sombo Lane.
The accused pleaded guilty to the offence so he got eight months behind bars.
