SIERRA LEONE, Freetown – Adamasay A.K Turay one of the contestants for the Beauty Queen Crown at Makeni city’s first ever Inter-Secondary Schools Edutainment Link-up show who represented her school, the United Methodist Senior Secondary School says her desire after bagging the event’s crown is to become a top model.
“I feel good for winning the Beauty Queen Prize at the Umunet Entertainment’s Inter-Secondary Schools Edutainment Link-Up Show. This is big and of course a morale booster for my modeling career which I’m hoping to put to a temporary hold and continue after writing my West Africa Senior Schools Certificate Examination (WASSCE) this year” she said in an interview with Awoko Newspaper on Monday morning.
She added that: “Modeling is a vocation I’ve so much passion for and I’m thankful to God and my supporters for the trust they’ve bestowed in me all these years.
“My school has also not only educated me but it has played a vital role in my modeling career as well because I gained the confidence to compete for more Beauty Crowns after I won this year’s Miss UMSS Beauty Crown in January.
“Winning the maiden Beauty Crown Prize at the just concluded Inter-Secondary Schools Edutainment is a step added to my modeling career which I want to take beyond Makeni and in the not too distant future represent my country at international Beauty modeling contests but my top priority at the moment is to study well and excel in my upcoming WASSCE Examination” she underscored.
