The Lumley Community was the first team to qualify in Group C in the on going Central One Football Association (COFA) inter-area league competition at the parade grounds in Freetown.
They booked their ticket after defeating Kissytonians by a goal to nil last Sunday to register their third win in a row. Even though Kissytonians were defeated by a goal to nil they too booked their ticket into the next stage of the competition.
The other qualifiers so far are Foulah Town from group A and Regent FC from group B. The other qualifiers will be decided this weekend.
The chairman of the association Sama Sesay said that out of the four groups three teams will qualify from each to the next stage which will be on a knockout stage and the best two losers will join the 6 qualifiers for the quarter final stage.
