The Living Word Mission International or Freetown Bible Training Centre which is one of the renowned Bible Training Centres in the country will start their 5th Annual Inter Hall Sports Meeting today and tomorrow March 21st at the National Stadium main bowl in Freetown.
This year’s sports meet is going to be under the Distinguished Grand Chief Patronage of the His Lordship, Bishop and Lady F.A. S Koroma of the Flaming Evangelical Ministries International.
During the two days Annual Inter-Hall Sports meeting four halls are going to compete for the championship. These are Tatro Hall – White, Farias Hall – Red, Orr Hall – Yellow and Bessman Blue. They have all vowed to clinch this year’s championship.
Also during the competition first position in a single event will receive 4 points, second position 3 points, third position 2 points while fourth position will only receive a point.
In the relay’s the points are different. First position will receive 8 points, second position will receive 6 points, third position will receive 4 points while fourth position will receive 2 points.
The all house Hall relay and Tug of War will receive the highest points during the two days meeting.
This year’s sports meeting is going to attract over 500 hundred students at the Bible Training Centre and over 50 churches are going to witness this particular sports meeting which is going to be the best organized by the Living Word Missions International
The past four Annual Inter Hall Sports Meeting were a success but this one will be more successful as the Sports Committee which is headed by the dynamic Man of God Rev Donald Bessman who also doubles as Director Living Word Mission and the Freetown Bible Training Centre have done their assignment to make this sports meeting a success story.
During the first sports day meeting which is today about 8 events will be completed including 5,000 meters for men Long Jump and 800 meters women, Shot Put both men and Women and a host of other events.
There is also going to be a Churches invitation relay in the 4×100 meters for men and women qualifying as many churches have been invited to take part in the invitation relay.
In the second day of the sports meeting about 20 events have been lined up to bring this year Annual Inter-Hall Sports Meeting to an end.
