As the Africell’s Premier League continues today, East End Lions, Blackpool and FC Kallon will all be in action this weekend.
At the Kenema playing Field today, Kambui Eagles will host East End Lions in a thrilling encounter and any result other than a win for East End Lions will affect the team for their second championship trophy in a row.
Kambui Eagles who in their last two matches secured four Points after they battered Ports Authority and drew with Diamond Stars are going all out to upset East End Lions.
In the first leg that was played at the National Stadium, both teams played to a one all draw.
At the Bo coronation field, Nepean Stars will host Mighty Blackpool whose playing standard have dropped in their last two matches they were able to secure a point which was not good for the team, while Nepean Stars on the other hand lost their last match to East End Lions by three goals to nil.
Both teams are going into the match to secure a win to bring hope and life back to their various teams.
At the National Stadium the current league leaders FC Kallon will host Bo Rangers and FC Kallon is expected to win and extend their lead while Bo Rangers are going to the match to at least secure a point to have some hope to be above the relegation zone.
On Saturday, Freetown City FC one of the improved teams will host Diamond Stars in another exciting match as the coach of Freetown City FC John Ajina Sesay is sure of victory in the encounter as he want to be amongst the first five teams at the end of the league.While on Sunday Ports Authority who have just secured a win in their last match against Golden Dragons will host Central Parade.
A member of the media committee of Ports Authority Osman Ola said come Sunday they are going for another victory that will take them to 39 points which will allow them to stay in the race to challenge for the trophy. This will be Hassan Milla’s second match in charge.
