Thirty home based players of Leone Stars will resume training today at the Football Academy, Kingtom in Freetown.
The training is part of preparation for the qualification of the African Nations Cup and the World Cup in South Africa.
During the training, Ahmed Kanu will be in charge of the team as he has been recommended by the technical team. It is now left with the executive of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) to approve him as head coach.
The professional players who will be invited will also join the home based in training and the team will finally go to camp for a month in Lungi where they will continue their training before playing their first match with Equatorial Guinea.
