Skye Bank PLC in Nigeria as the Parent body of Skye Bank SL LTD has pumped a whooping sum of Le 15Billion in to Skye Bank Sierra Leone Limited to enhance its effectiveness and smooth operations.
Skye Bank SL started operations in the country in 2007 with Headquarters on 31 Siaka Stevens street. It operates as a group that provides facets of financial products and services powered by a purpose built technological framework that supports the service delivery process to customers.
According to the Head, Treasury and International Operations of Skye Bank, Mahmoud H.M Koroma, said the injection of the Le 15B has further restored confidence to customers that Skye Bank SL was here to stay and effective to compete in the Banking market. Explaining further the benefits to be deprived, he said the Bank would have to increase its credit facilities as well as open another branch by April. The Treasury Head indicated also that Skye Bank has about 258 branches in West Africa and that the Sierra Leone market has proved beyond all reasonable doubts to its customers that they are sustainable, focus and purpose driven.
He also said the other benefits of the Le 15b was to recruit more Sierra Leoneans, increase staff morale, pay more tax to Government and increases its Corporate Social Responsibility.
Skye Bank SL. Ltd now offers exciting products like Skye Money Wise, Skye Rainbow, African Payment System and a soon to be established Western Union Money Transfer services.
