Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – Team Manager of Labrum, Juldeh Bah, reaffirmed Labrum’s commitment to sports development by providing essential items for national and international tournaments. Bah made this announcement during a recent visit to the Minister of Sport, Madam Augusta James-Teima, at her Bishop House office in Freetown.
Bah disclosed that Labrum has established collaborations with various sporting associations, including NOC, Handball, SLAA, among others. The focus is on supplying LABRUM items to support athletes and teams participating in both local and international competitions.
During the meeting, Bah updated the Minister on Labrum’s ongoing efforts, emphasizing the establishment of a modern structure in rural areas dedicated to stocking, selling, and distributing Labrum items. He assured the Minister of Labrum’s unwavering support during her tenure.
To solidify their commitment, Bah presented a set of LABRUM jerseys as a special gift to Madam Minister.
In response, Madam Minister expressed her gratitude for the special visit and extended her thanks to the LABRUM Management. She commended Labrum for its contributions to sports promotion in the country, particularly in supporting various sporting associations.
The Minister highlighted the importance of corporate entities, like Labrum, playing an active role in sports development through financial support to sporting associations as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility.
“I will work with you and provide my support. Feel free to inform me of any challenges you may face. I am aligned with associations that excel, aligning with the vision of our hardworking and dynamic President, H.E Julius Maada Bio,” stated Madam Minister.
