The National Olympic Committee Henry Moore slated for 7th to the 15th February this year in Lungi.
Speaking to Awoko Sports about the competition Alhassan Kamara the coordinator of the competition said that the people of Lungi have decided to organize this competition in recognition of the work the NOC president Henry Moore has been doing over the past years
This according to them is why they in the Lungi community have come together to organize such a competition as an appreciation for his leadership and also for his recent victory over his opponent Andre Hope.
He also disclosed that 8 communities will take part in the competition and these 8 communities will be divided into two groups of 4 communities each.
The eight communities are Mahera, Rotifunk, Tintafore, Royeama, Lungi Town, Kambia, Tulun and Masoila while two female teams, Bullom FC and Lungi Angels will also play each other in the competition.
To make this competition a reality the President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) Henry Moore has donated five footballs and two Volleyballs to the organizers to help them in staging the competition.
