Residents of Kondebotihun Community in Kenema have expressed delight over the support given by Hon. Mathew Sahr Nyuma for the construction of a Community Barray. Addressing the community, Hon. Nyuma said since 2007, during his first tenure of office as Member of Parliament, residents of Kondebotihun identified the Community Barray as one of their felt needs, which he said is now becoming a reality.

He also affirmed his commitment to development to the people, adding that he would look into the many requests on his table as the opportunity arises. Hon. Nyuma donated 10 bags of rice to the blind school at RTI and five bags and four wheelchairs to the Opportunity Training Centre for polio victims.

In his statement, Kenema Town Chief, Alhaji Kenie Momoh Ngombulango described the Honourable as a man of his people, saying that the construction of the Community Barray for the people of Kondebotihun is a welcome development for the people, adding that the Barray had been one of the felt needs of the people of Kondebotihun, which will continue to unite the people.

The Kondebotihun Town Chief, Alhaji Vandi Ngombulango, referred to the construction of the Community Barray as a laudable initiative, adding that as a community, their own contribution is to provide labour and local materials for the work, and assured that his people will continue giving maximum support to the project.
