Kenema police cracks down on 43 criminals

Police in the regional headquarter town of Kenema have cracked down on 43 hardcore criminals who escaped police raid in Freetown, Bo and Makeni. They would soon be charged to court.  
News of the influx of criminals into Kenema town and the increase in armed robberies and other related crimes became issues of concern to residents, and after series of complaints the police swooped and rounded up the 43.
Sani Sesay, the regional crime officer, discloses that the criminals were rounded up at various locations in the town.
The operation was carried out after the police were given tip-offs
