One of Africa’s icon footballers Kalusha Bwalya who is the current president of the Zambian Football Association will inspect the renovated National Stadium on May 12.
The stadium was expected to be inspected by May 8 but the Federation of International Football (FIFA) has officially informed the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) that the inspection will now take place after the deadline given by them for the renovation work to be completed on May 10.
Kalusha will arrive in the country on May 11, the following day he will inspect the renovate stadium and report back to FIFA before FIFA will finally take the decision to lift the ban or continue it.
At present, the renovation work is almost at its completion and during the renovation football fans provided some of the labour work.
Leone Stars’ team manage said the only setback in the work was the numbering of the seats in the stadium which was not in the contact.
