Abiding and following one of the tenets of Islamic principles during the Holy month of Ramadan to give out charity, Allieu Mucktarru Kallay has donated cartons of the Al-Quran to the Voice of Islam radio station and the Fullah Town mosque.
On Friday, Mucktarru Kallay observed the ‘jumah’ prayer at the Fullah Town mosque in Freetown where he made the donation.
The officiating imam, Sheikh Omolabi Tejan, preached about the blessings in giving out alms during the month of Ramadan.
