Sierra Leone: The media team of Kamboi Eagles has said as a way of boosting the morale of our darling Kamboi Eagles, the District Engineer of the National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA), Ing. Gareth Jonathan Saffa has donated One Million Leones plus sets of football cones to Kamboi Eagles. This event took place on the 27th April, 2021 in Kenema.
Addressing the representatives of Kamboi Eagles, Ing. Saffa clearly stated that this donation is actually a promise he made ahead of Kamboi Eagles’ season opener against FC Johansen that, if the team scored any goal, he would present them One Million Leones plus other sport items. Even though the team couldn’t score a goal, he still considers it his responsibility to motivate the boys ahead of their next match against Mighty Blackpool in Kenema.
Receiving the cash and other items on behalf of the team, Kamboi Eagles Secretary General, Mohamed Pateh Jabbie alongside Coach Alhaji Abedi Foray and the club’s Financial Secretary, Fomba Kanneh, fully assured Ing. Saffa of the appropriate use of this gesture. Jabbie further appreciated him for this priceless move and also called on other stakeholders to emulate Ing. Saffa’s exemplary attitude. Coach Alhaji Abedi Foray commended Ing. Saffa for the gifts and also promised confidently that the team would definitely bounce back from the defeat in Bo.
