Leone Stars’ home-based Coach, John Keister is optimistic his boys can perform a miracle in their CHAN African Nations Cup first-leg encounter against Guinea scheduled for 1st or 2nd December 2012, in Conakry Guinea.
“My boys are responding very well to the prescribed trainings, even though it was not easy at the beginning,” John Keister told Awoko Sports, suggesting further that the players will surely implement what they have learnt during training in the match which is expected to be played at the 28th September Stadium Conakry.
Coach Keister however refused to predict the outcome because: “in football, anything can happen but we are very sure of eliminating our opponents in their own backyard.”
The return-leg is expected to take place in Freetown two weeks after the first match in Guinea. “That is why we are going to take the first leg very seriously.”
Twenty(20) players out of the 24 players that are training presently are expected to make the trip on Thursday November 29th 2012.
