Pastor Yatta Samura the executive Director and founder of Sports Life International has disclosed to Awoko Sports that this year’s Jog for Jesus was a success.
He said that since they organized this annual event the turnout of people who took part in the jogging was the largest so far.
Pastor Yatta Samura said even though the jogging was not a competitive one it was very exciting as all those who took part were prepared to jog for Jesus this time around and made it very interesting for their physical fitness.
Pastor Yatta also mentioned that this event is always held on the Saturday before Easten and for the past years it has been a success story because they had testimonies from different people after the jogging.
He also stated that during the jogging on Saturday those in the Eastern part of the city started from Annie Walsh Secondary School and those in the Western Part started from Collegiate School and both groups ended at the National Stadium Car Park at Brookfield in Freetown.
Some of those who were part of this year’s jogging have also disclosed to Awoko Sports that the jogging was a blessing to their families and they are looking up to this particular event every year.
