JMG releases the ‘GENESIS’
SIERRA LEONE, Freetown: Jace Media Group (JMG) has released a joint album of the label’s duo – FOC and Alvin, titled ‘THE GENESIS’ yesterday 3rd November 2021.
The title of the album, ‘The Genesis,’ corresponds to the musicians’ musical journey as they make their way into the Sierra Leone music business. The 16 track album which were on pre-sale in Spotify, includes collaborations from Rozzy, Allieu Melody, and Heziko.
‘The Genesis’ schedule launch, is at the Hotel 5/10 in Freetown on the 22nd of December. However, prior to the launch the album was been made available on major online streaming platforms.
Moses Bobor, better known by his stage name Alvin D Homieboy, is a Sierra Leonean singer, songwriter, and engineer who was inspired by Legendary Singer K-Man.
In January 2019, Alvin secured his first professional music deal with JMG and later recorded his debut song, ‘Good News,’ alongside Sierra Leone’s renowned Hip Hop star Kao Denero.
The dynamic R&B/Pop Star later released another song titled ‘Not Ur Ex’ as his debut solo single a few months before being nominated for Best Pop RnB Singer of 2019/2020 at the New Skool Awards. He was nominated alongside Makmuday, Blesz, I-tribe, and others, and he was nominated again the following year at the National Entertainment Awards.
Foray Amara Tarawallie, also known as FOC, is a Sierra Leonean Afrobeat/Afro Hip Hop performer.
He reigned in the New Skool period when he began his musical career in 2013, although his first studio song, a mixtape named Big Man Bizness, was released in 2014.
In 2014, FOC collaborated with Drizilik on a song named ‘Kam Leh We Go’ under the banner of Afterglow Empire.
FOC secured a record deal with JMG in 2018, and in early 2019, he released his debut single, ‘Yagba Dem,’ along with a vintage video.
Jace Media Group (JMG) is Sierra Leone’s foremost Multimedia and Record Label, founded in Freetown in 2018 by Abdul Kanu, a development-minded Sierra Leonean living in the United States of America.
