The administrative Secretary of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Abubakarr Kabbah (sweet Kay) has disclosed to Awoko Sports that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ivorian referees to officiate the preliminary stages of the 16th edition of the CAF U-20 championship between Sierra Leone U-20 team and the Junior Teranga Lions of Senegal slated for Saturday April 19th at the National Stadium in Freetown.
Referee Koffi Arthur Dominique will be in the centre to take full control during the match and will be assisted by referees Tehe Gueilucien and Yeo Songuifolo, while the match commissioner will be Fofana Sekou from the Republic of Guinea. All of the them are expected to arrive in Freetown today for the all important encounter.
The Senegal team arrived yesterday with a 25 man delegation with most of the players having played in the last zone two competition hosted by Guinea Bissau.
Some of these players are not strange to some of our players who were also part of the Sierra Leone team to the competition.
