An executive member of East End Lions Brima Keita has disclosed to Awoko that he has never lobbied around supporters and officials for any position in the club according to report from a local tabloid.
The same tabloid in the caption said that he Brima Keita should take over from Alhaji Mohamed Nabie as chairman of the club. According to him he was surprise to see such report when the reporter never contacted him to have his own side of the story. He further stated that he will not fight to remove Mohamed Nabie from his position as Mohamed Nabie is an elder brother to him. It was Mohamed Nabie who wrote him last year to be part of the executive which he accepted as he has passion for the team he supports from his school days.
He however managed Old Edwardians football team after returning from the States when he was asked by Hon Chernor Jalloh and Dr Foday Bangso to come on board to assist. Said he never refused because he attended the school. As team Manager of Edwards things never worked well so he decided to leave and joined is original club East End Lions.
