The Western Area Inter-Secondary Schools Athletics competition (Inter-Sec) will start tomorrow at the National Stadium main bowl and will end on Thursday with over 40 schools taking part.
The competition will be organized by the ministry of Education, Youth and Sports.
The minister of Education Youth and Sports, Dr Minkaliu Bah who will be the distinguished patronage for the competition, will address the participating schools before declaring the competition open.
In the first and second days, 11 events will be done each day and nine on the final day.
And during the competition, first place for any individual event will have eight points and a win for team events will be 16 points.
In the last competition for senior secondary girls was a win for Government Rokel School while St Edward Secondary won in the boys’ category. And in the junior categories it was a win for Ansarul in both boys and girls.
