Scores of residents are now homeless as a result of fire disaster in Kailahun district.
Speaking to this press a resident, Amie Moigua from Bunumbu Town, disclosed that some dwelling houses had been burnt down at Sajalah village which is between Bunumbu town and Baaya village about four kilometers from Bunumbu town in the Kpeje West chiefdom.
She said the incident occurred when a resident at the village set fire on his farm. The fire spread to the nearby plantation unto her village and set some of the houses ablaze.
Several property were destroyed in inferno while most of the villagers were on their farms at the time of the outbreak
A farmer, Abubakarr Moiba from Gbeika, Dodo chiefdom in Kenema district, lost over 20 acres of his cocoa and coffee in a fire disaster.
