This year’s school football competition was won by the Independent Secondary School; as they defeated the Services Secondary School by penalty shoot out after a one all draw at full time.
This year’s competition which is organized by the Physical and Health Education Teachers in the Ministry is one of the worst competitions organized so far.
Those who were in charge of the competition were only interested in the money from gate takings; hence no certificates or prizes were given to deserving Schools.
It was a shock to the Government Rokel Secondary School Volleyball Team that after winning the Volleyball competition the organizers only presented a cup and a football to the team as their prize.
The big question that many football fans are asking is; what have the organizers done with the monies collected from gate takings.
We want the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports to carry out an investigation.
