The Prince of Wales Secondary School at Kingtom, one of the most distinguished schools in the Country, has put up an outstanding performance as they defeated Services Secondary School at Juba by penalty shoot out at the National Stadium practicing field in Freetown.
At the end of the first half, the Prince of Wales was down by two goals to nil as Brima Mansaray and Lamin Mansaray scored for Services Secondary School.
When the second half resumed, the Prince of Wales was on top of situation as they took the game to their opponent. Towards the end of the match, the players from Services Secondary School started loosing steam; and the Prince of Wales took advantage of the situation to score two quick goals before end the of match which ended 2-2.
Hassan Turay and Santigie Kargbo scored for the Prince of Wales.
During the penalty shoot-out Prince of Wales won by 5-4.
Before the match, the Prince of Wales Secondary School made a protest against 5 players from the Services Secondary School, whom they claim were not attending the School. Some of the players are Paul Kargbo, Samuel Kamara, Karim Sesay and Brima Mansaray.
In the junior category Services Primary School defeated Wallace Johnson by a goal to nil, to proceed to the next stage of the competition.
The competition continues today at the National Stadium practicing field for schools in the Western Area.
