As the school league competition continues at the Kingtom oval Ahmadiyya defeated Government Kingtom Secondary School by 58 runs
Ahmadiyya was the first to take the crease and they made 143 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs with Samuel Coker making the highest score of 55 runs to be followed by Sulaiman Tarawalie with 40 runs.
Bowling for Government Kingtom Secondary School K Koroma got 3 wickets for 38 runs and J Kamara – 2 wickets for 29 runs.
When Government Kingtom Secondary school took the crease they replied with 85 all out in 17.1 overs with T Jenkins making the highest score of 20 runs, to be followed by J Bundu with 14 runs while M.Kainesie and M Gray made 13 runs respectively.
Bowling for Ahmadiyya, S Tarawalie got 3 wickets for 11 runs, I Komba – 1 wicket for 4 runs and Johnny also had 1 wicket for 0 run.
In the other match Prince of Wales defeated their opponent Methodist Boys High School by 137 runs
When Prince of Wales took the crease they made 158 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs with Solomon Williams making the highest score of 55 runs. A Mansaray made 25 runs and S.M Kamara made 11 runs.
Bowling for Methodist Boys High School Alhaji Daramy got 4 wickets for 26 runs and F Kargbo got 3 wickets for 33 runs.
When Methodist Boys High School took the crease they were able to reply with 21 all out in 7 overs with F Kargbo making 3 runs with extras of 14 runs.
Bowling for Prince of Wales Solomon Williams got 6 wickets for 6 runs while R Conteh got 4 wickets for 12 runs. The competition continues today.
