The Proprietor and founder of the Kakajam Technical and Vocational Training Centre (KTVTC) Kenema Emmanuel Metzger has disclosed that there has been a marked improvement in the middle-level man power in Kenema city since the establishment of the Technical vocational school in 1998.
Speaking to Awoko press at his Fatmata street office in Kenema where the school is located Mr Metzger said now that the school has been officially approved by the Technical and Vocational arms of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology (MEST).
He called on all the youths who will not achieve higher education to come to the center and get meaningful training for self-reliance, a meaningful future and a better Sierra Leone he emphasized.
Mr. Metzger added that since the establishment of the Tec.Voc. School in the Eastern province in Kenema particularly with a motorcycle education for a start, he can boast of well-learned self-reliant and development oriented graduates with basic education.
He called on the people to go to the Kakajama Technical Vocational Training Centre and choose what they want to learn including computer training, gara tie-dying, engineering and many more causes that is offered at the center.s
