In Kenema 3 charged for Manslaughter

Three accused persons Abdulai Massaquoi a trader, Mohamed Mannah a miner and Fanta Momoh a
widow all of Tokpombu Tongo field in the Lower Bambara chiefdom in the Kenema district, made their fourth appearance before the presiding High Court Judge Justice Nyawo Maturi Jones in the High court in Kenema charged with the offence of manslaughter. Prosecuted by Timothy Sowa Senior State Counsel, the particulars of the offence on the charge sheet indicate that the accused persons on 30th March 2006 at Tokpombu in Tongo field in the Lower Bambara chiefdom in the Kenema district unlawfully killed one Massah Kargbo.  The three accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charge. The High court Judge Justice Nyawo Maturi-Jones however granted bail to the three accused person each in the sum of ten million leones including one surety who should be a house owner in the district and the house plan be deposited to the court.
