Two accused persons Dauda Swaray of Kpayama layout and Amadu Momoh of Burma one layout in Kenema city have made their last appearance before presiding High Court Judge Justice Nyawo Maturi-Jones at the high court in Kenema, where they are facing charges for house breaking and larceny contrary to section 26 cap (1) of Act of 1916.
According to the particulars of offence the second accused person Amadu Momoh of Burma on the 22nd of January 2008 at Kpayama old town allegedly broke and entered the dwelling house of Aiah Sheku and stole two bundles of zinc valued at Le400.000, the sum of Le300.000 and a six battery radio and tape recorder valued at Le50.000 all to the total value of seven hundred and fifty thousand leones. The first accused Dauda Swaray of Kpayama pleaded guilty and he was sentenced to four years imprisonment starting from the 22nd of January 2007. The second accused pleaded not guilty and he was discharged for want of prosecution.
