The ongoing female league organized by the Kingtom association at the national stadium practicing field is now in the semi final stage, with the RSLAF and Soccer Angles scheduled to do battle in the decisive second leg match today for the team that will go to the final on Sunday.
The match is going to be thrilling and exciting as on Tuesday RSLAF defeated Soccer Angles by two goals to nil, with both goals scored in the first half of play while Ramatu Bangura (Barrel) accounted for one of the goals for her side from a free kick that displaced the RSLAF goalie.
After the goal they missed other possible chances of scoring more goals which never happened until the end of the first half.
In the second segment it was a different situation as the Soccer Angels captained by Musu Pele were more on the offensive looking for at least one goal to have some better chances in the second leg. This never materialized as the RSLAF defence was well composed and focused.
While on the other hand RSLAF were piling pressure to increase the score line so that the second leg will just be a formality as they should have gone through to the final but most of their chances were wasted by feeble shots taken by some of their attackers.
