International Military Advisory and Training Team (IMMATT), plans to redundant workers as at March 31, 2013.
According to information recieved, the decision came about, owing to the transformation of IMMATT; with their present location as Leicester Square (LQS), being fully utilized by the UK in- Country team, who will consolidate from their existing locations.
As a result of this, Management of the site, will transfer from the Ministry of Defence (MOD) to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) as of April 1 this year.
The plans for the manpower required to run LSQ are maturing fast and the FCO will soon be in the position to offer employment to individuals who have posts that are deemed necessary.
According to information, the last working day will depend on the current rota, but for the majority, it will be March 28th 2013, and at the end of March, they will receive their normal salary payment, preferably by bank payment, plus terminal benefits and redundancy payments, based on their length of service, as determined by the TACOS.
