Senior Executives of the International Insurance Co. (IIC) has extended an invitation to President Ernest Koroma to serve as special Guest of Honour at the Company’s fifth anniversary celebrations later this month.
The invitation was extended when the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Nduka Anyaso accompanied by Lawrence O. Onyenson, Deputy General Manager and Business Development Manager, Jabez Rogers-Wright paid a courtesy call on the President.
Briefing the President on the performance of the Company, Anyaso expressed satisfaction for the performances of the President and his Government especially in the area of electricity; while using the opportunity to express gratitude for the confidence reposed in him to serve on the Board of SLICOM.
He then briefed the President about the introduction of three new products; Comprehensive Health Insurance, Travel Protection World Wide Cover and Medical Insurance for the local market.
Responding, President Koroma expressed desire to see the Insurance Industry play a pivotal role in the development of the nation; noting that he is pleased with the new ventures the company has introduced into the insurance market.
The President informed the team that he has been watching their growth with keen interest and further promised to attend the fifth anniversary celebrations.
The delegation was introduced by Jabez Rogers-Wright, who lauded the President for the opportunity accorded to them.
