Eight teams will compete in the Idriss Trophy competition that is expected to commence on Sunday at the Malama Community field at Lumley. This competition is organized by the Malama Community Football Association
The main aim of the competition according to the coordinator A T Kabba said they want to bring the Lumley community together through sports were they can also be able to tap new talents that will represent the community in future competitions.
He appeals to all the participating teams adhere to the rules and regulations of the competition. Any team that fails to abide by the laws would be punished as the organizers are bent to achieve success in this competition.
The participating teams are teams Makulate Strike Force, FC Praget, Peace Rangers, D House FC, Pentagon Stars, Quarry FC, Sheriff Drive Strikers and New York Rover FC.
These teams will be divided into two groups with winners and runners up for the semi finals stage.
