The International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Officer, Cheikh Thiare is expected in town to settle the on-going dispute within the Association.
It was the IAAF President Lamine Diack, who recommended Cheikh Thiare, due to his wealth of experience, to settle the dispute which has plagued the Association for a very long time.

He would also have a briefing with the Director of Sports and working sessions with both the out-going and in-coming executive members of the Association.
On the final day he would give a farewell message before leaving Freetown to report back to IAAF President, Lamine Diack.
