Jee Isram, General Secretary and Senior Manager of the IAAF Athletics has stated that their will be no financial assistance for the Sierra Leone Amateur Athletics Association (SLAAA) for over using financial facilities in Maritim hotel in Germany during the World Championships.
He made such statement in a letter written to Sundufu Sowa, Secretary General of the SLAAA that until the conflict between Sundufu and his president is resolved, and also leaving behind 1,414.92 Euros in unpaid bills for telephone, minibar and bar.
The letter also stated that Sundufu have deceived him and he has no confidence in Sundufu even though he was trying to convince him and to revive athletics once more in the country.
He condemned the attitude of Sundufu to give his name to the hotel to pay for such bill due to his sundry expenses in Berlin and considers such very serious and will not pay the bill until the SLAAA executive agree to pay of these expenses from the 2009 Annual Grant for their Federation.
