The coach of Mount Aureole SLIFA Junior Konneh has told Awoko Sports that they need to work on the attackers of the team ahead of their competition in Las Vegas, USA next month.
He made this statement after the team’s tour in Bo and Lungi, where they played four matches all of which ended in a draw.
He said they are going to work very hard on the attackers these few weeks so that they will start to score goals which are very important in the game of football if they are to create serious impact in the competition.
He further stated that he was very impressed with the defenders as they were able to exhibit what they had learnt in training.
The team conceded only two goals in the four matches and they were penalty kicks.
Coach Konneh said even though they were unable to win a match they performed well and they are up to standard.
He also said the team played one of their best matches in Lungi and it ended in a draw.
The matches played against Bo Rangers and Nepean Stars ended one all.
Coach Konneh said before the team departs next month they are going to play other friendly matches to put them in good shape as during the competition in Las Vegas they are expected to play two matches in a day.
