Head of Peace and Humanitarian Foundation (PHF) Tim Gate told Awoko Sports on Friday after watching a group of young footballers, that he is impressed with their performance, passion and dedication.
He said this after witnessing Friday’s training session at the Prince of Wales school, Kingtom.
He said with their kind of passion and dedication, these batches of players who are coming up, are going to win the World Cup for this country. He also expressed amazement with the kind of talents, they have for the sport. He said that he is more than pleased to see their potentials and our next move is to bring some coaches here to undergo and improve training in Italy, so that at the end, it will be easy to track talented players. He also explained that they will use computer software to improve on their potentials, as his organization wants to give the players, better access to the latest training tips and help them improve.”
Tim Gate also revealed that they are looking forward to establish an European training ground in Freetown, which will give great opportunity to young players in the country to have better training facilities.
Tim told Awoko Sports that the Foundation is based in Ghana, and as time goes on, some of these players will have the opportunity to get improved training in Parma ,Italy which will be good for them in the future.
He also revealed that Parma is one of their partners, they are working with to achieve their goal. The talent scout revealed that Manchester City in England and Adidas sports company have agreed to supply sporting gears for the teams they will be working with.
Tim Gate also revealed that with this talent they are going to make sure that they support the players all the way.
The PHF is a humanitarian foundation which is operating in every country to help develop nations and offer great opportunities to improve the lives of local villagers with improved facilities, such as electricity and water.
The company is working with Winter Investment, a company which is working with sports authorities in Europe.
