Chinese Ambassador in Sierra Leone Hu Zhangliang has said that humility and determination has taken them to the top after the Peoples Republic of China was declared in 1949. He said on October 1st they will celebrate 70 years of existence and they are proud of their achievements throughout this period as they continue to strive for more success in the years to come. China’s modernization is already rapidly improving the welfare of one quarter of mankind and changing the communist ideology. But China is not only growing more stable and prosperous, it is also growing stronger. “Our road to success started in 1978 and by 1987 we had completed the first stage of reorganization. Humility of Chinese People was generated by Chinese thousands of years’ history and notion of ethic. It means people should treat themselves lower than others, and others must have something people can learn from. When Chinese people say humility, these words can be used to describe: ordinary, succumb, obedience. This is a good habit for us Chinese people.”
