The Public Relations Officer of HOPE Sierra Leone Gladys Eligoma Kpukumu has told the press in Kenema that there are plans underway to extend the Moral Foundation for Democracy project in the Eastern Region.
She disclosed that the Moral Foundation for Democracy is a tripartite programme, which involves the military, the police and the civil society to build up trust and a good relationship for a peaceful society.
Madam Kpukumu added that the programme would create a hatred free, greed free and fair society through the observance of the four moral values of honesty, purity, absolute love and selfishness.
Giving a brief background of the programme she revealed that the project was launched in 2005 and started operations in 2006 pointing out that each month there is one week training and an out reach program in the provinces covering Bo, Moyamba and Kambia districts and at Makeni and Waterloo.
