The three days Henry Moore gala started yesterday at the Black field playing field in Freetown.
The three day gala will end tomorrow at the same venue.
This is in the second gala organized in the honor of the NOC President after he was re-elected as President of NOC in January this year.
The first one was organized by the youth in the Lungi Community. This one is organized by the Anabi Yusuf Sports and Entertainment foundation in collaboration with the National Olympic Committee (NOC) and the Freetown Teachers College Students Union Government.
Speaking to Awoko one of the organizers of Anabi Yusuf said that they have decided to organize the three days gala for the role Henry Moore has played so far for the development of sports in the country.
He also stated that the Student Union Government of the Freetown Teachers College holds the NOC president in the highest regards even as he came to their aid to donate sporting equipments to boost the sports department in the college.
He also stated that during the three day gala we are going to witness Athletics, Handball and Football and the gala will bring sports personalities together
