In his welcome address SLBL sales manager, Ayodeji Oke, said the label was as
transparent as the beer and that this was a demonstration of SLBL’s transparency.
In his presentation commercial manager Kobbie Walker, said, “our Heineken beer is 100% natural store house of nutrient.” He noted that the beer had no additives, no preservative, no fat and that it was rich with vitamin B1, 3 and 11.
Throwing light on the history of Heineken, Mr Walker explained that respect and quality were the driving force of Gerard Heineken’s brewery.
He said when his son Henry Heineken took over the brewery business his concern was to improve on employees’ condition by instituting the “pension fund.”
Mr Walker said, “our value is based on respect, passion for quality and enjoyment. It is the world’s most valuable international premium brand,” he averred.
