The Healing Jesus Campaign will provide three days of free medical treatments to the people of Sierra Leone alongside a planned crusade to be evangelized by the Founder and Chief Evangelist, Dag Heward-Mills during his visit to Sierra Leone in late February this year, according to information disseminated by the Jesus Healing Campaign Director.
The three-day free medical service delivery will be provided to Sierra Leoneans in Freetown and Kenema respectively on the days the crusades are held. Campaign Director, Rev. Karpos Amporo said the campaign will be liaising with the Ministry of Health and Sanitation and the Pharmacy Board for the importation of the drugs required for the treatments and for permission for the crusade’s medical team to work in the country.
The Healing Jesus Campaign is a Ministry of the Light House Chapel International that started in Ghana in 2003 and has since been extended to include denominations of churches in over 52 nations around the world with over 1, 200 branches.
According to the Campaign Director, Rev. Karpos Amporo, the campaigns have seen a gathering of half a million people in a single night during which many people were saved by way of healing and raising of the dead. He said many have also enjoyed the refreshing and invigorating international level work of the ministry’s conference being delivered at their door steps.
Rev. Amporo disclosed that Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills is coming to Sierra Leone as a guest of the Body of Christ in Sierra Leone to hold a crusade and described the visit as a “once in a life time divine visitation”, and also as God’s “strategic and timely agenda for the nation of Sierra Leone.”
He explained that over the past three months, he has been in contact with various networks and individuals within the Body of Christ of Sierra Leone, who he assured, have promised to cooperate by their participation in the campaign.
Evangelist Dad Heward-Mills is a trained Medical Doctor by profession, who is specifically called, chosen and anointed by God for this present generation and the hand of God is strangely manifested in his life, as an apostle and prophet, Rev. Amporo said of Evangelist Heward-Mills.
At the National Stadium in Freetown, it will hold on the 26th to 29th February this year and in Kenema, at the Kenema Plane Field, it will be hosted on 4th to 7th March.
“Through these crusade sessions, we trust That God will bring deliverance to many people including the oppressed; salvation to the lost and healing for the sick from their varied strange and painful diseases,” Rev. Amporo assured.
