Sierra Leone’s Cyprus based international striker, Mustapha Haji Bangura had his name on the score sheet for his Apollon side by scoring the winning goal for his side, to defeat one of his arch rivals Ermis Aradippou by two goals to one (2:1)
This particular goal was Haji’s second goal of the season in two matches and Apollo’s second wining in a row.
The Sierra Leonean International was able to put his name on the score sheet for the second time in the 64 minutes of play.
In an interview with Awoko Haji said he was happy to get his name on the score sheet for the second week in a row. And he hopes to continue such form and help the team win the championship this season.
Also on the score sheet was Ghanaian striker, Junior Agogo who put Apollon ahead in the 57th minute and Haji was also pleased to see his African compatriot score his first goal on his debut.
He said. “He is very happy for him, it was our first game together and I enjoyed every minute with him on the pitch. I hope we will continue such form.”
